The same goes for cats, dogs, dolphins or even a pigeon...well maybe in some parts of the world but humans are generally picky about what they eat. I think we do sympathize with animals to some degree. We've humanized some animals and children shows and we have began to grow a connection with them; however, some animals still remain as our food.
